Corona Virus Update

At Concord Baptist Church, we love all people. At a time when there is much panic and fear related to the spread of the corona virus pandemic, we have particular concern for the elderly, infants, the disabled, and the sick. Out of love and concern for this group of people, the deacons and I have decided to modify our normal worship schedule. We will not be having public services on:

–        Wednesday, March 18.

–        Sunday, March 22. And

–        Wednesday, March 25.

The sermon for this Sunday will be made available online on the Facebook page of Concord Baptist Church. You may worship through tithes and offerings by sending them in the mail at PO Box 181, Concord, GA 30206 or through our church’s website at

As a church, we want to serve the most vulnerable during this time. If you are at home and need someone to go to the grocery store for you, please call the church office and we will find a volunteer to help meet this need. If you know of any children who depend upon school lunches, please let us know so that we can check on them and meet their need.

If you would like to volunteer to serve those with needs in this time, please call the church and let us know you are available to serve.

God bless and we hope to see you soon!

We believe God has called our church to mission. This mission is summarized by our newly adopted mission statement:
“Concord Baptist Church exists to glorify God through gathering all kinds of people from among our families, neighbors, and friends, growing with them through Gospel-centered worship in a Gospel-centered community, and going with them to reach Pike County, North America, and all nations through Gospel proclamation, church planting partnerships, service, prayer, missions sending, and generous financial support.
This mission can be summarized in three words: #gathergrowgo.
Our church exists to be a gathering place for the community. We want to be a place where people from every background and every stage of life can come and worship the one true God!
God is at work in our church growing us to be more like Him through the ministry of the Word! We grow in our Sunday morning worship time, we grow in our weekly Community Groups, and we grow as we serve our community together!
We gather people and grow with them to be more like Christ so we can go! We want to train people to be followers of Jesus and send them back out into the world to share about His goodness and His grace.
Our mission is clear. We desire to glorify God as we #gathergrowgo!
Would you consider joining us on this mission? Will you pray about being used by God here at Concord Baptist Church to make a worldwide impact as we #gathergrowgo?
